Giulia and Andrew married in the Rossetti Room at Chelsea Register Office on the King’s Road in London.

Giulia’s family came over from Italy and included parents, uncles and aunts and cousins. And Andrew’s parents came over from the US. In total they had nine guests. The Rossetti Room seats up to twelve guests so it was the perfect size for Giulia and Andrew’s day. Giulia wore a pretty sleeveless white satin and organza A-line skater dress with a scoop neck. She teamed this with silver court shoes, sheer white gloves, an alice band fascinator and a beautiful bouquet of cream and pale pink roses. Andrew wore a navy suit and tie with brown brogues. The guests all toned in beautifully with navy, whites and blacks.

After the ceremony everyone sat for a portrait inside the Rossetti Room. The rain was due at any minute so it was a good backup just in case. In the end we managed the groups on the steps of Chelsea Old Town Hall before the rain started. Just before the confetti shot Giulia and Andrew asked the Registrars for a photo with the two of them. They said that it was a first, were very pleased to be asked, and more than happy to accommodate.

The confetti shot was fabulous and Andrew didn’t hesitate to pull Giulia close for a kiss. Passers by were quick to congratulate the happy couple. It became a little more busy when someone suggested that it might be the wedding of French President, Emmanuel Macron. This was quickly corrected to plenty of laughter and cheers. Once we finished the group photographs the guests headed back to Giulia and Andrew’s flat. The three of us made our way to St Luke’s Gardens for a few portraits and then when the rain started we took cover under the church entrance canopy. Perfect timing!
